Friday was my last day of work, and they were nice enough to embarrass me at the company meeting. In my bashful state, I didn’t get a chance to say thanks. I learned and grew a ton, alongside some fine (and smart) folks. Thanks. I also realized I’ll be in Ecuador for as long as I was at my job – wow, a lot could happen.
Amazingly, I was surprised this weekend by a party featuring my best college buddies, who traveled a long way to see me before I go. I was elated to see them, but my first reaction was “why did you all spend your money to see me??” It was greatly appreciated.
